Author Guidelines

As announced earlier, traditional conference proceedings will not be published and authors are not requested to send full papers but only prepare a presentation. However, authors who choose to prepare a full-text manuscript will have a chance to publish their papers in the scholarly open-access journal the Canadian Journal of Information and Library Science (CJILS/RCSIB) (SJR, Q3; JCR, Q3). Authors who decide to submit their papers for consideration for publication in CJILS are invited to submit their manuscripts to the journals electronic management system by June 1, 2025 (choose the option "LIDA 25").
Important deadlines:
  • Submission of full-texts to LIDA 2025 electronic management system: June 1, 2025
  • Notification of acceptance of full-text manuscripts for publication: September 15, 2025
  • Publication date:2025/2026
All papers should be full-length articles between 5.000-8.000 words (research articles) or 5.000-10.000 words (review articles), excluding the references.
Reviews of submitted articles will be double-blind. The papers NOT meeting the reviewers’ standards will not be published.
