Conference Registration Guide

Registration Policies
All accepted submissions must have at least one paid registration. The registration deadline is June 1st 2016. Papers which are not registered by the author registration deadline will be removed from the proceedings of the conference. Online registration for LIDA 2016 is available at the Webshop of the University of Zadar. For special circumstances a requests must be made in writing by email and sent to lida@unizd.hr

Instructions for Online Registration

  • Online registration is mandatory.
  • Participants are required to use their e-mail address and set a password to register. E-mail and password are required for Sign In (Login).
  • Participant’s (attendees) contact information and registration type must be entered during registration process.

To register for the conference, you need to fill in the registration form hosted on the Webshop of the University of Zadar. After submitting the registration form you will be offered a secure payment site which allows you to pay via credit-card or to make a bank/wire transfer (pro-forma invoice).

Instructions for Payment by Credit Card
Choosing to pay by credit card leads the user to a secure credit card payment portal held by T-com PayWay. Payment by credit card must be made in Croatian Kuna, as per Croatian Law. Your credit card company will convert the paid amount into Croatian Kuna at the time of payment, per the daily exchange rate, and process payment. The transaction on your credit card statement will be shown in detail, in your local currency.

  • Fill in all requested data for all conference participants (attendees)
  • At the “Confirm order” step choose “Online payment”
  • You will be transferred to the T-Com PayWay System

University of Zadar Webshop uses T-Com PayWay system to authorize and conduct payment. Safety of your personal data during communication between your computer and T-Com PayWay system is fully secured using encryption and safety protocols. Encryption is a process that converts regular text into coded text with the help of algorithms and secret or public keys.


Instructions for Payment by Bank/Wire Transfer

  • Online registration is mandatory.
    • Create new account
    • Select the preferred conference fee(s)
    • Fill in all requested data for all conference attendees
    • At the “Confirm order” step choose “Bank/wire transfer” or proceed to “Online payment”
  • Please indicate your transaction reference number shown on the offer, sent to your registered e-mail address, while making your payment.
  • Bank transfer cost should be paid to the bank separately by the participant.
  • The bank transfer receipt including the name of the participant(s) should be e-mailed to the organizing office (lida@unizd.hr)

Registration Fees

  1. Early bird (by April 15, 2016)

    Participants with accepted papers/posters/workshops: 1125 kn (150 Euro)
    Student** Full Conference: 750 kn (100 Euro)
    Students** with accepted papers/posters/workshops: 375 kn (50 Euro)
  2. Late registration (after April 15, 2016)
    Full Conference* (conference materials, refreshments, social events): 350 Euro
    Participants with accepted papers/posters/workshops: 200 Euro
    Student** Full Conference: 150 Euro
    Students** with accepted papers/posters/workshops: 100 Euro

For Online Payments
* Payment by credit card must be made in Croatian Kuna, as per Croatian Law. For Bank/Wire Payments

  • The bank transfer receipt including the name of the participant(s) should be e-mailed to the organizing office (lida@unizd.hr).


Cancellations and Refunds

Non-author, student Refund
Refund request should be made to lida@unizd.hr. Cancellations will be subject to a 50 EUR cancellation fee before June 1st, 2016. NO REFUNDS will be made after June 1st, 2016. Cancellations must be made in writing by email and sent to lida@unizd.hr

Author Refund
Author registration is non-refundable. Registration fees can be transferred to another co-author under special circumstances. All transfer requests must be made in writing by email and sent to lida@unizd.hr

Author No Shows
LIDA enforces a strict “no show” policy. LIDA 2016 requires that each accepted submission be presented by one of the authors in-person at the conference site according to the schedule published. Any paper accepted into the program, but not presented on-site will be withdrawn from the official program and proceedings
