The  conference will take place from the 13th to the 17th of June 2016 at the Old  Campus of the University of Zadar, Ul. M. Pavlinovica 1, 23 000 Zadar, Croatia  (www.unizd.hr )
 VENUE
  Zadar is one of the enchanting cities on the Adriatic coast, rich in history. It  still preserves a very old network of narrow and charming city streets, as well  as a Roman forum dating back to the first century AD. CONFERENCE  INFORMATION
  Libraries in the Digital Age (LIDA) is  international biennial conference organized by the School of Communication and  Information, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA, the Department of Information Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and  Social Sciences, University of Osijek, Croatia and  the Department of Information Sciences, University of Zadar, Croatia The  conference addresses the changing and challenging environment for libraries  and information systems and services in the digital world. This year’s theme  “Digital Library Curation and Collections” is divided into two parts. The first  part “Digital Curation and Preservation – Current Trends and Research” covers  research and development, and the second part “Use Studies, Education &  Training for Digital Library Collections” addresses advances in applications  and practice. Up to now more than 2,000 people from about 40 countries all over  the world attended the conference, and each year inspiring guests of honour,  invited speakers and distinguished professors from the field of information  science attend the conference (Tefko Saracevic, Professor  Emeritus, Rutgers University, US; Christine L.   The  Conference, which generally attracts around 150 participants every year from all over the world (US and  Canada, Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa), is orientated toward information  specialists, information scientists, librarians and developers, educators, practitioners and researchers in the field of information sciences. Typical  conference participants deal with issues such as information organization and  information and knowledge management, technological and social contexts and  focus on the search, organisation and use of information, information  behaviour, information society, information science theory as well as other  issues concerning exponentially expanding information market and digital  technology.
