Learning in Libraries in the Digital Age

Abstract:
This is an introduction to the presentations, demonstrations and workshops on the theme of Libraries for Children and Youth in the Digital Age. Professor Kuhlthau will discuss her work on the Information Search Process with insights drawn from the most recent studies on the Impact of School Libraries on Student Learning conducted through the Center for International Scholarship in School Libraries at Rutgers University. She will introduce the variety of work that will be presented in this theme at LIDA 2006.
