Inter-University Centre, Dubrovnik, Croatia, 19 - 22 April 2021
Libraries in the Digital Age (LIDA) addresses the changing and challenging environment for libraries and information systems and services in the digital world. LIDA is an international biennial conference that brings together researchers, educators, students, practitioners, and developers from all over the world in a forum for personal exchanges, discussions, and learning, made easier by being held in memorable environs. This year’s theme is " Reshaping Identity in The Digital Age: People, Libraries, Data, Technology & Ethics". We welcome papers that address critical and theoretical examination of the theme; present current research and evidence, as well as examination of best practices from the field, and practitioner perspectives and applications.
LIDA conference will be held virtually 19-22nd April, 2021. To mitigate concerns about time differences and avoid technical problems, you will be asked to pre-record your presentations. Detailed instructions are forthcoming.
Also, the regular registration has been reduced to 150 Euros, and non-salaried and student registration to 75 Euros. If you already registered for the conference and paid the full amount of the initial registration fee before its reduction, you will receive a partial refund.
Please fill out the following survey (available at https://rutgers.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5zQ8pjrGS5pQSGx) which asks whether you still plan to participate in virtual LIDA. Please fill out this survey whether or not you plan to participate by Friday, 19 February 2021, even if you already registered and paid the fee.
Important: It is required that all participants register. So if you have not registered and you plan to participate, please do so by March 5th at the latest, on our website (http://lida.ffos.hr/fees/).
