Sei-Ching Joanna Sin is an associate professor at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She holds a Ph.D. and a master's degree in library and information studies from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. She received her Bachelor of Social Science degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, majored in Geography and minored in Anthropology. Her research interests include structural and individual factors in information behavior; perception, use, and outcomes of public libraries; information behavior on social media; and bibliometrics. She has published in College & Research Libraries, Journal of Documentation, Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, Library & Information Science Research, and Scientometrics, among others.
