LIDA 2007 PhD forum - An ASIST-sponsored Event |
|
PhD forum shall be organized at LIDA 2007 where posters dealing with students' particular thesis topic can be exhibited. These are not restricted to the core topics of the conference. Students at any stage of their PhD are encouraged to apply: the forum is an ideal place for presenting research in the early or planning stages, as well as work that is nearing completion.
This doctoral forum is organised by PhD students for PhD students and is a unique opportunity to present your research in a supportive environment to an international audience of students, researchers and practitioners.
Students interested in participating in the LIDA 2007 PhD forum should submit a 1000-1500 word position paper or report which will appear both on the LIDA website so that it could be read in advance by interested parties and in the conference proceedings. Application is closing May 15th.
All the PhD posters enter a competition for the best poster award, which includes an annual ASIS&T membership and free registration for next LIDA!
