Amy VanScoy

Amy VanScoy is an associate professor in the Department of Information Science at the University at Buffalo. Her research focuses on professional work, including practitioner thinking; diversity, equity, and inclusion issues; and the application of theory to library practice. She teaches courses in information behavior and research methods. She holds a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She publishes in journals such as Library & Information Science Research and Journal of Documentation and presents at national and international conferences.
